Read notifications and document-view alerts
Find updates and control alerts when recipients view your documents.
Before you start
Notifications belong to the workspace and records you can access.
Step by step
Open the bell
Select the notification bell in the sidebar to see recent updates. Use the notifications page when you need the full list.
Open the related record
Select an update to investigate the document or event. Check its current status before taking a follow-up action.
Keep the list readable
Use the available read controls to clear unread indicators once you have reviewed the updates.
Review view-alert preferences
In Your Company, find the document-view alert settings and choose the available alert options for your workflow.
What happens next
Read indicators help you distinguish new updates from ones you have reviewed. A document view indicates access to the page; it does not mean approval or payment.
Good to know
Browser notifications also depend on the browser’s permission. The in-app notifications list remains the place to check updates.
